Clark County, Washington

Can I burn garbage?

Garbage burning: prohibited

Washington Department of Ecology states that burning garbage or construction debris is illegal. Clark County limits allowed outdoor-burning materials to natural vegetation grown on the property and directs residents to Southwest Clean Air Agency for local restrictions.

This answer covers garbage at a confirmed non-tribal location only. It does not infer a paper-only rule, report the current fire-safety or air-quality ban stage, or grant permission for any other burning.
