Ordinary household-trash disposal

Orange County's Controlled Burns guidance prohibits burning garbage, refuse, trash, rubbish and other liquid or solid waste at all times. The county identity, Census FIPS 51137, and this permanent rule were independently checked October 14, 2026.

This is not a current emergency-ban feed, permit decision or permission for leaf burning, land clearing or recreational fires. Municipalities, tribal lands and special exemptions are outside this answer.
